Volunteering at Revelation Gardens
This is what belonging to our little community
actually looks like
Come sit with a shy kitty, spend an hour and help them learn to trust. Come help once a week for several hours and help refill supplies, do laundry, vacuum, or help with recycling. Come several times through the week and help with morning or afternoon daily care. We have so many ways you can make life better for our cats and dogs. We have everything we need except you!

We do our best to match volunteers with the things they enjoy doing most with the areas we need help with. We want your time with Revelation Gardens to be joyful and full of purpose and for you to feel valued and part of our community.
Our cats and dogs
You can spend time in the home-like spaces with our rescues enjoying quiet moments reading or listening to music, active play time, brushing, or simply being present. Time spent with our cats and dogs helps them feel loved and heal from past pain. You may find it helps you heal too.
Keeping our sanctuary safe and clean
Creating a comfortable, healthy environment for our rescues takes many hands. If you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, there’s always something that can use your help–from cleaning and organizing to seasonal projects and keeping our spaces comfortable.
Helping with Daily Care
For those who enjoy being part of the daily rhythm of the sanctuary, there are opportunities to help with feeding, washing bowls, refreshing water, refilling supplies, scooping litter boxes, and other everyday needs.
Share your talents
Helping animals doesn’t always mean working directly with animals. Revelation Gardens also needs people willing to share their skills and interests through fundraising, marketing, crafting, grant writing, site maintenance, special projects, and more.
Have a skill we haven’t listed? Tell us about it. We’d love to find a way for you to use what you enjoy doing to make life better for the animals.
We’d love to meet you, learn what you enjoy doing, and help you find a way to be part of Revelation Gardens that feels right for you. Fill out the form below to schedule a time to meet with Dawn and learn more.
