We have many cats and dogs who depend on us to provide daily care at our rescue on Flatwoods Rd., where you’re welcome to stop by Tuesday–Friday or by appointment, and more at our second home-based sanctuary location for animals who need a quieter, more permanent setting. Visits there can sometimes be arranged — just ask.
With this many rescues, this leaves plenty of ongoing volunteer opportunities for you to choose from! If you have a a few hours every day, a couple hours a week or, a few hours every few weeks, we would love to talk with you further and get you on the schedule.

Morning Direct Care of Animals
We feed, provide fresh water, scoop litter boxes, exercise the dogs, and do light cleaning for each cabin or space the animals live in.
Approximate time for opportunity: 1-2 hours
Days: You can choose any single day or combination of days that works for you. We provide direct care 7 days per week! Just let us know when you claim the opportunity.
Time of Arrival: 8:30-9:00am
Afternoon Direct Care of Animals

Vacuum Cat Trees
We have 1-3 cat trees in each of our 11 dedicated cat spaces. This opportunity helps keep the cat areas clean and comfortable for the residents.

Frequency: This is a weekly opportunity.

Cleaning
We have 14 spaces that cats and dogs live in. This opportunity provides sweeping/vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down furnishings or counters.

Filing and Office
This opportunity provides administrative support for the president of the organization. There are multiple areas to help with including filing, organizing monthly receipts, restocking forms, and other office tasks as needed.
