Wesley came to Revelation Gardens after making a rather dramatic entrance into rescue.
He was spotted running through traffic, barely avoiding being hit by a car, before darting into a local business. A man named Wes helped get him to safety, so when this lucky little boy needed a name, Wesley seemed just right.
Fortunately, his days of dodging traffic are long behind him.
Wesley has grown into an incredibly sweet, happy boy who is simply a joy to have around. He’s affectionate, social and quite the conversationalist. Wesley has plenty to say and isn’t particularly concerned about whether you asked for his opinion first.
He’s also discovered one of life’s greatest pleasures:
running water.
Turn on a sink faucet and Wesley is fascinated. He’ll play with the stream, paw at the water and happily entertain himself—which is considerably safer than his earlier adventures in traffic.
Wesley loves spending time on the catio, bird watching and stretching out for long naps in the sunshine. He’s especially close with his rescue brother Maximillion, but he’s also deeply established within the larger group of cats who share our home.
These cats are his family. This is the environment he knows, the routine he understands and the place where he feels secure.
So Wesley isn’t waiting for someone to come along and give him a home.
He already has one.
Wesley is a permanent sanctuary resident, and sponsoring him helps provide the food, veterinary care and lifelong security that allow this once-lucky little traffic dodger to spend the rest of his life exactly where he belongs.
The boy who once ran desperately looking for somewhere safe doesn’t have to run anymore. He’s home.
