Sabrina

Sabrina is a sweet, quiet soul who appreciates some of life’s simplest pleasures: a warm patch of sunshine, a long nap on the catio, a good brushing, and—once she knows you—a comfortable lap.

Sabrina came to Revelation Gardens during the emergency evacuation of an outdoor cat colony near the local Elks Lodge. We had been caring for and observing the colony for years when we were suddenly given just one day to move the cats.

Sabrina was one of the mothers who made it safely to Revelation Gardens. She was still nursing when she arrived, and in the confusion of the evacuation, her maternal role extended beyond her own kittens. She helped provide care and security to young cats who desperately needed both.

One of those kittens was Cole.

Cole wasn’t Sabrina’s biological kitten, but she became a maternal presence in his life. Years later, that connection remains part of their shared history and is something we would carefully consider in any future placement.

Sabrina herself is wonderfully easygoing. She may be a little reserved when she first meets someone, but give her a little time and you’ll discover a friendly, affectionate girl who enjoys being brushed and settling into a lap. Most days, though, she’s perfectly content stretching out on the catio and finding just the right sunny spot for a very long nap.

After spending so much of her life caring for others, we’d love to see Sabrina find a person who simply wants to care for her.

Could your lap be Sabrina’s next favorite place to nap? Come spend some quiet time with her and find out.
