The Writing Studio is a safe space to explore the prompts given to you by your coach. Feel free to listen to music as you write or simply stay in silence. You might enjoy lighting a candle or having aromatherapy oils diffusing, or have a cup of tea or a nutrient dense smoothie.
If you have a favorite journal, use that for your writing assignments. Or find a special one just for your Retreat work. For the Reset Your Default program, use the journal that came in your packet.
The idea is to put pen to paper and write what flows through you. No need to worry about grammar, punctuation, or spelling.
There are typically two techniques that will be used: Free flowing and Intentional.
Free flowing will provide more insight if you don’t think too much about what you write. Just write what comes through you.
Intentional writing is designed to provide clarity from one of the activities you’ve engaged in. This can be from the art studio, music room, movement space, nature room, or any other activity your coach has assigned you.
As you go through each activity and utilize journal writing, your coach will be a guide to provide personalized programming for you.
